Here in our country not only HS girls are obssessive about their cellphones, EVERYONE is. :/ It scares me to death. Even those who are supposed to be living "below the poverty live" still HAS to get a cellphone. It's a necessity here in our country. I have no idea why. It's like, everywhere you go you can go ask anyone and they have a cellphone. @_@ Ack. I'll end ranting now o_o; Sigh, whatever happened to landline phones and actually meeting up with the one you're talking to? Some people even court via cellphone. How romantic. *sarcasm*

Uhh, it's not that I'm against cellphones and the SMS system and the whole technology altogether. It's a nice techie thingie. Really helpful for busy people. And I love technology. I love the internet! <3 But sometimes it kinda degenerates how people value communication. Sure, you "talk" with each other but how about the physical presence of both parties? I do think that presence matters a lot in a relationship. But yeah, my voice and opinion is too little to be considered true to everyone. XD;

PS. I do have a cellphone but I seldom load it and very seldom use it for SMS and calls. I only use its camera! XD Ahh~ and I'm sorry for blabbering much on you DA... D:

Ah! This reminds me of how this years AVID(college-prep class) trip was. We went down to the San Francisco area to explore universities there and gah! every single girl always was using a cell phone in some shape or form. Seriously, there were people yelling to other people, "Did you get my text message yet?!" Personally, I don't mind just walking over to someone to converse with them, rather than tediously punch letters into a cell phone. Sure, I do see how they could be useful, but when the person is less than fifty feet away....>.< Other times they would be chatting randomly with people for hours instead of enjoying the scenery or just participating in activities. I really don't see how talking with someone you can talk to any other time is more fun than the roller coasters at Six Flags XD Oh well, they're just obsessed o.o -feels good to be different- Heheh, and wonderful work once again =3
